Vietnam - The 3rd largest garment exporter in the world
Vietnam is the world’s third largest textile- and garment-exporting country. The export turnover of Vietnam’s textiles and garment products is expected to reach $40 billion USD in 2019, an increase of 10% over 2018.
Vietnam is investing heavily to upgrade both its textile and garment production facilities to meet production demand and to fulfil the requirements of the ‘yarn forward’ principle as stated in 14 signed global trade agreements (eg, EVFTA, CPTPP and next-generation FTAs, etc). To achieve zero taxes, Vietnam needs to invest in yarn, weaving, dye, printing, and other areas.
SaigonTex 2020 - Exhibitors await space allocation
Many of the exhibition spaces have already been sold or reserved. A number of registered exhibitors are still waiting for space allocation. The organizer is trying to expand the size of the exhibition hall to accommodate the flood of exhibitors.
