Having fully returned to normal production, exports for Vietnam’s textile and apparel industry in the 1st quarter of 2024 achieved USD 10 billion, an increase of 10% compared with 2023.
Since Vietnam is heavily reliant on fabric import, the Vietnam government is promoting investment in the infrastructure for weaving, dyeing and fabric infrastructure to meet the requirements of the Comprehensive Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
