Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic autoimmune pathology leading to various pathophysiological symptoms and psychosocial impacts. Clinically, the adverse impacts of RA are controlled with medications, including disease-modifying management (DMARDs), and non-pharmacological interventions.
 
Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a hot topic in rheumatology. To highlight the potential applications of AI in managing RA, Dr. Yeung Wan Yin Winnie, Specialist in Rheumatology, was invited to share her opinions on the development of AI and the relationship between clinicians and this new member of the multidisciplinary team in RA care.
